Therapy Services
Individual Therapy for Adults: I provide individual therapy (typically weekly sessions) for adults aged 18 and over. My standard fee is $155 per session.
Low-Cost Slots: I reserve a limited number of lower cost slots for people experiencing financial need - please reach out to check on availability.
Free Consult Call: I provide an initial 15-minute consultation call at no cost, to discuss your needs and what therapy might look like.
Insurance
I am out of network with insurance. This means that your full payment is due at the time of service. I will provide a “superbill” document that contains all the information you need to submit a request for reimbursement to your insurance company later. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will then mail you a check to help cover the cost of sessions.
Not sure whether your insurance will reimburse you, or how much? Here are steps you can take to find out more:
Check your “Summary of Benefits” or your insurance company website. Look for information about out-of-network benefits.
Call your insurance company member services line. The phone number is usually on the back of your insurance card, and there may be a specific number for “mental health” or “behavioral health.” On the phone, you can ask:
What is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health? Is this separate from my in-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
At what rate will I be reimbursed for out-of-network services?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
